A man already serving time for killing his infant son in Vermont now faces the death penalty for killing his 2-month-old daughter in California.
Jason Hann was convicted in Vermont for the 1999 beating death of his 6-week-old son at a Shelburne campground. Hann confessed to that crime after being arrested for the murder of his baby daughter. Her body was found in a storage unit in Arkansas. But authorities determined the murder took place in California.
That case finally went to trial and a California jury is now recommending a death sentence for Hann.
