Pat Brooks came to Vermont Teddy Bear Company in search of the perfect gifts for her grandchildren.
"I think it's a great place to come to give a child a wonderful, huggable gift on Christmas," said Brooks of Vergennes.
Brooks, along with others, agrees that an analog toy like a teddy bear is just as popular in the digital age.
"When it comes to making a Christmas list, kids will throw those Xboxes and things at the top of the list, but when a kid gets a Vermont Teddy Bear there's always a smile on the face," said Wendy Duval of Vermont Teddy Bear.
At Vermont Teddy Bear Company you can get any type of bear you ask for, and for the holiday season a popular one is baby's first Christmas, where you can get the baby's name printed right on the bear.
"Teddy bears are timeless," Duval said. "They're best friends forever. Particularly with a Vermont Teddy Bear we have a 100 percent unconditional guarantee for life."
Shu Ker of Singapore says she would prefer Santa bring her a Vermont Teddy Bear rather than a PlayStation 4.
"I'm visiting my sister, because she's in Vermont and we just thought it would be a really nice place to see because it's one of the must-sees in Vermont, the Teddy Bear factory," Ker said.
And Grandma Brooks says her grandkids didn't ask for an Xbox this year, but a Bear-Box.
"Teddy bears for my seven grandchildren," Brooks said. "My Virginia family is coming up and they have a 4-month-old and a 2-year-old and I couldn't think of any better gift than a Vermont Teddy Bear."
Vermont Teddy Bear Company is working hard to help Santa and his elves get these bears under the trees this year.
