It was a reunion for two Vermont men's ice hockey players tonight at TD Garden in Boston.
Teammates from 2007 to 2009, which included a Frozen Four appearance, Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller and Nashville forward Viktor Stalberg have shared plenty of ice in their lifetime, just not usually as opponents and never at the NHL level.
An occurrence which could soon become more common. While Stalberg, is now in his fifth year in the league. Miller, with 11 games under his belt, is still getting acclimated to playing at the big time level.
However, his recent play has earned him praise in the Boston lockerroom and it appears after skaing past the 10-game waiver rule, he will be staying with the team. Our Mike McCune caught up with both players for an exclusive 1-on-1 interview before tonight's game.
