Hartford police rescued a baby from an alleged drug house during a raid Thursday.

It happened at an apartment on Crystal Place. When police raided the home they allegedly found a 17-month old baby boy in bed with his mom -- and her boyfriend.

Detectives say Joseph Cobb and Mariah Gagne had a crack pipe, crack rocks, cocaine and marijuana in the bedroom.

Police also say hidden under the baby were two heroin-filled syringes.

Cobb and Gagne denied the drug charges in court and were released. The infant was handed over to child protective services.
