This summer you'll be able to see Mount Washington in a new way.
The Observatory plans to show off its renovated museum on the New Hampshire mountaintop in June. Hands-on, high-tech exhibits include a sampling of the "World's Worst Weather", a simulator to allow you to drive the Snowcat, and a re-creation of the 1930s observatory. It'll also show visitors what "clear day" views from the summit look like in all seasons.
Of course, they have to wait until the auto road opens again to be able to bring those pieces up to the museum to install.
