The caregiver found guilty of exploiting an elderly patient is back in prison to finish her sentence.

Jodi LaClaire, 39, still owes the state of Vermont 34 days behind bars out of the two-year sentence a judge handed down Friday.

Most of her sentence was already served while LaClaire is being held on murder charges in the death of Nita Lowery, 83. A jury acquitted her in the murder but found her guilty of trying to steal thousands of dollars from Lowery.
