HOMER GLEN, Ill. -

The director of security at a Quebec boarding school has been arrested on cocaine trafficking charges.

The Herald-News newspaper in Joliet, Ill., reports that Sylvain Bergeron, 42, was pulled over on Interstate 355 in Homer Glenn, Ill., last Friday for talking on his cellphone while driving.

State troopers then found an estimated $1.2 million worth of cocaine in his vehicle.

The paper cites court records identifying Bergeron as the director of security at Stanstead College, a secondary school just across the border from Derby Line, Vt.
