BARRE, Vt. -

Twice in two days. Police in Barre City and Berlin are looking for a suspect they say hides his identity with painter's tape.

Police released surveillance images of a man caught on camera allegedly robbing the Quality Market on Washington Street in Barre Sunday night. He's described as a white man about 5'11". Police say he wore a blue hoodie and wrapped his face in blue painter's tape.

Monday night police say a man with the same disguise robbed the Mobil Station on Rt 302 in Berlin just before 7 p.m.

In both cases the suspect threatened the clerks with a weapon but never showed one and made off with cash. Sunday night a witness saw the robber take off in a black Chevy pickup. But on Monday police say the suspect fled on foot. They believe the robberies are connected.

If you know have any information call police.
