Lake Champlain Chocolates has expanded with a new restaurant.
The South End Kitchen in Burlington opened Tuesday. The breakfast and lunch spot features a breakfast and lunch café, craft chocolate and an education kitchen. The culinary center was a multimillion-dollar renovation of the former Sondik Supply building on Pine Street. The restaurant will be open from 7 to 7 daily.
"This makes our niche deeper. We can't sit still, we'll get run over. Lake Champlain Chocolates is not about getting big for the sake of getting bigger -- It's about getting better. This is a way to get back closer with the consumer," said LCC founder Jim Lampman.
