Lake Placid's Olympic Flame will burn again in celebration of the upcoming Winter Games in Sochi and the Empire Games in New York.

Friday, February 7, the cauldron will be lit at 6 p.m at the North Elba Horse Show Grounds, followed by a torch run. The procession ends at Mid's Park, where a cauldron for the Empire State Winter Games will be lit.

Lake Placid hosted the Olympic Winter Games twice in 1932 and 1980.
