The verdict is in. A Malone man has been found guilty of distributing more than 2,200 pounds of marijuana across the border.
Federal prosecutors say between 2005 and 2011, 42-year-old Allan Peters -- was part of an international drug smuggling ring -- moving millions of dollars in drugs between Canada and the U.S.
Authorities say Peters and the other smugglers used his property on the Akwesasne Mohawk Reservation in Quebec -- to stuff hockey bags with hundreds of pounds of pot -- before bringing them into the U.S. Authorities intercepted the drugs in North Hudson, Malone and Hogansburg, New York.
Peters will be sentenced in July.
