BURLINGTON, Vt. -

There's been an arrest in a Burlington burglary we first told you about almost two weeks ago.

Back in January someone broke into the Radio Deli on Pearl Street and made off with cigarettes, beer and food before leaving the back door open leading the pipes to burst in the cold temperatures and creating quite a mess.

That same week someone smashed out the front window and made off with merchandise from the Kerry's Kwik Stop on St. Paul Street.

Monday, police arrested William Slingerland, 19, of Burlington, and charged him with two counts of burglary, unlawful mischief and possession of stolen property.

He's being held on $5,000 bail.

He's due in court Tuesday.
