Ignat Solzhenitsyn talk postponed due to snowstorm

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - A talk by conductor and pianist Ignat Solzhenitsyn about the writing of his father, former exiled Soviet dissident Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn who lived in Vermont, has been postponed due to the snowstorm.

Ignat Solzhenitsyn was scheduled to give a talk in Brattleboro Wednesday night as part of the Vermont Humanities Council's First Wednesdays lecture series. The event has been rescheduled to Friday, March 28.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn lived in Cavendish from 1977 to 1994 and died in Russia in 2008.
