Couple accused of stealing bridge parts

LYNDONVILLE, Vt. -

A St. Johnsbury couple has been charged with stealing bridge parts.

Police say Alicia Mitchell and Vincent Keithan stole more than $12,000 worth of bridge equipment.

An October police report revealed J.A. McDonald Construction reported scrap metal and bridge parts were stolen.

The Caledonian Record reports another Lyndonville yard contacted police about finding the stolen items.

And an investigation lead police to the couple. Mitchell and Keithan will be arraigned in court today.
