Neighbors in Plainfield are looking to Vermont's high court to keep a wood chip heating system away from their homes.
Goddard College is looking to replace 23 independent heating systems on campus with the wood chip facility.
A number of residents who live near the property have been against the plan for years, citing environmental and noise concerns.
That group had appealed to the state's environmental court to try to stop the facility being built near their properties.
That appeal was denied and now neighbors are taking their case to Vermont's Supreme Court.
