WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont man involved in a home invasion and robbery of a 73-year-old man has been sentenced to one to 10 years in prison.

Joseph Morin, 31, of Springfield, apologized in court Thursday in the assault last May. The victim was robbed of $750, hit with a gun and left covered in blood.

The Rutland Herald reports Morin's sentence will run concurrent to a sentence he is serving for selling Tylenol 3 with codeine.

Another suspect in the case, Eugene Meyette, 27, of Bellows Falls, has pleaded innocent and is awaiting trial on assault and robbery charges.
