A section of Interstate 91 in Windsor
County was closed for most of Friday morning because of a multi-vehicle crash.
It happened before 7 a.m. between
Exits 6 and 7 in Springfield and shutdown all traffic in the northbound lane.
Police say it started when the driver
of a gray Scion went off the road. He got out of his car and was standing along
the highway. Another car driving by slowed, and was hit from behind by a
tractor-trailer which jackknifed off the road and slammed into the Scion. The
other car slammed into a passing FedEx truck.
Three of the four drivers were taken
to the hospital with what police described as minor injuries.
