We've got some fun activities planned here in Vermont this Saturday!

CARDBOARD BOX DERBY

The 18th Annual Cardboard Box Derby at Quechee Ski Area begins at 2 pm at The Sledding Hill and awards follow in the Main Dining Room.

ANNIVERSARY PARTY

The Central VT Humane Society Adoption Center is celebrating a birthday from 10am to 2pm in East Montpelier. Join in the fun of celebrating the 4th Birthday Party. This is also the kick-off event to celebrate CVHS's 50th Anniversary. Their Birthday Wish List includes Canned pet food, Blankets and towels and Pet safe rock salt.

BIG BAND MUSIC


There's an Eco-Music Big Band Performance on February 22 in Plainfield. This New York roster of some of the world's greatest instrumentalists including acclaimed South African-based musician and scholar Dr. Salim Washington and Clare Dolan, curator of the Museum of Everyday Life and longtime puppeteer with Bread and Puppet, will perform original contastoria work dedicated to the Black Liberation Movement. www.goddard.edu/news-events/events/eco-music-big-band

CHAMPFEST

ECHO: Story Explorers: Champ. There's a monster in Lake Champlain! Hear the tale of the famous kid-friendly Lake Monster and conduct an investigation together at ECHO in Burlington. www.echovermont.org/

BRIDAL SHOW

The Fabulous February Bridal Show is happening in St. Johnsbury. It will be held at the Catamount Arts Building from 11:00-2:00. They're expecting people from around the region to attend. Ticket sales will be given to the Catamount Arts Foundation in St. Johnsbury.
