Police say a carpenter hired to install a doggie door used the job to break into his employer's Clarendon home.
It happened Sunday on Cold River Road. Police say the homeowner's surveillance system caught the handyman, Nicholas Brown, 24, on camera squeezing through the dog door and walking out with a 60-inch television.
Investigators say the Danby man later traded the TV for 12 bags of heroin in Rutland. He's facing a slew of charges.
