Stranded bus passengers finally reach destination

Posted: Updated:
BURLINGTON, Vt. -

An update on a travel nightmare we told you about Tuesday.

Passengers on a Greyhound bus bound from Boston to Montreal were left stranded on the bus twice Tuesday in Vermont when the company failed to complete timely driver swaps. The passengers sat in White River Junction for five hours, and then after making it to Burlington, they sat waiting again for several more hours.

We can tell you now that the bus finally did arrive in Montreal a little after 6 p.m. Tuesday-- nearly 12 hours after its scheduled arrival.

The company has offered ticket refunds to passengers who endured the entire journey from Boston.
