PROCTOR, Vt. (AP) - Police are no longer searching the Rutland County town of Proctor, Vt., for a woman who was reported missing last week, but are following up on tips she was seen in other locations.

Police say 59-year-old Maryann Foster was reported missing by her boyfriend on Feb. 26. Authorities say she disappeared without taking her jacket or keys.

Police say a ground and air search of her neighborhood last week failed to find her.

County Sheriff Stephen Benard tells the Rutland Herald police are following up calls from people who reported seeing Foster in Berlin, Williston and two or three other locations.

Benard said Foster's disappearance is still considered a missing person case due to the lack of any evidence of foul play.
