The Vermont high school basketball season came to a close today with four boys state title games.
In Division I, Rice used a combined 31 points from Tommy Fitzgerald & Ben Shungu to defeat Mount Mansfield, 66-35. It's the Green Kinghts second straight title and fourth in six years.
At the Division II level, Lyndon's Mason Lantz scores a game-high 19 points as the Vikings top U-32 55-35 for their first state title.
It's a three-peat and 50 straight wins for Williamstown in the DIII Championship. The Blue Devils get 31 poinrs from Devin Duff & 20 from Jason Manwaring as they top Randolph 88-69.
A wild finish to the DIV Championship as Danville ends the game on a 17-0 run to defeat Twin Valley 50-43. The Indians aided by a game-high 20 points from Patrick White as they win their first title in 25 years.
