ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Corrections Department wants to revoke the probation of a former Burke woman who was convicted of conspiring to kill her stepmother in Burke in 2000 and is now in jail in Las Vegas.

An arrest warrant for Tashia Beer was issued last week by a judge in St. Johnsbury for allegedly violating the conditions of her probation.

Beer is now 29. The Caledonian Record reports officials say she violated her probation by living with a convicted felon in Las Vegas.

Beer was 14 when her foster brother shot and killed Beer's stepmother, Vicki Campbell-Beer, at their home.

In 2005 Beer pleaded guilty to manslaughter. She was imprisoned six years before being placed on probation.

Last summer a Vermont court refused to release Beer from probation.
