WELLS, Vt. -

A Wells couple suing the Vermont Electric Power Company over a mountaintop transmission tower has won again in court.

Felix Kniazev and Olga Julinska claimed their home on Northeast Mountain wasn't habitable after VELCO put up a new tower and transmitter. A jury agreed, awarding them $1 million.

VELCO wanted that verdict thrown out, saying a judge not a jury should have decided.

But Wednesday, the court ruled the jury did have that right and the verdict stands.
