MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - A New Hampshire skier who became lost after skiing out of bounds at Vermont's Smugglers' Notch during the snowstorm has been found.
Vermont State Police say 40-year-old Matt Harrison of Salisbury, N.H., was found by search teams Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., about three hours after he had called the resort from his cellphone.
Police say Stowe Mountain Rescue located him on the Upper Gorge Loop Trail in Sterling Forest in Stowe. He was not injured and was able to exit the woods on his own.
