Bread Pudding with Jameson's Hard Sauce

Preheat oven to 350'
Lightly butter a 9"X 13" pan
Re-hydrate 2c dried cherries in hot water for 1/2 an hour and drain well
Melt 1 stick unsalted butter
Put cubed bread in pan and drizzle with melted butter. Put Eggs into a large bowl and whisk well. Add sugar and vanilla and mix well.
Add cream and 1/2&1/2 Mix and pour over the bread slowly. Using the back of a spoon gently press the bread till bubbles raise to the top. Then remove spoon and repeat till bread is well soaked. Cover with a piece of parchment paper then cover with foil. Bake about 1 hour.
Jameson's Hard Sauce
Whip room temp. Butter till light and fluffy. Slowly add powdered sugar add cream and Jameson's and whip till fluffy adding more Jameson's as needed.
