Fashion show benefits cancer research

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

It's a fashion show to welcome in the spring -- and raise money for cancer research.

The Tuttle Middle School hosted the Saunter Into Spring Fashion Show Sunday. Twelve models showed off sportswear and bike wear for the coming season. The event also featured an auction and a raffle.

"We're here because we're passionate about finding cures and treatment for cancers, especially blood cancer, so the leukemia and lymphoma society provides service and research for blood cancer," said J.R. Miller, a bicycling coach.

Supporters got a chance to win gym memberships and hotel stays.
