A UVM graduate and former Lost Boy from Sudan had a busy weekend.
Abraham Awolich, a UVM graduate and former Lost Boy from Sudan, gave a talk and addressed the United Nations World Conference on Women. Awolich is one of the founders of the Sudan Development Foundation or SUDEF. He now lives in South Sudan, helping to deliver health care to people in rural villages. Before flying back to Africa to resume his work, Awolich sat down with Mike McCune to discuss his foundation and the struggles his group and nation face.
