Home confinement for driver in fatal DUI crash

Posted: Updated:

A Woodstock man whose drunk driving crash killed his best friend was in court Thursday.

Justin Pierce, 22, will spend the next five months in home confinement as part of a plea agreement. Police say Pierce told them he'd had four or five beers at a victory celebration for their baseball team before he got behind the wheel.

The crash last August killed his friend, Jonathan Ferrero, who was a passenger in the car.
