Union: No deal in the latest round of driver negotiations

Posted: Updated:
BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The CCTA bus drivers strike continues even after another round of negotiations Friday.

Union members tell Channel 3 they met with management and a federal mediator for 17 hours Friday, but have yet to strike a deal.

CCTA drivers have been on the picket line for two weeks, leaving about 9,700 daily passengers stranded. 2,400 of them are Burlington school kids.

Right now no future negotiations have been scheduled.
