WCAX Weather Anchor Gary Sadowsky: Look at that, we have already gone through half a box of tissues! We are going to miss you something terrible.

WCAX News Anchor Elizabeth Keatinge: Well done, well done.

WCAX News Anchor Molly Smith: Thank you guys, I'm going to miss you a lot!

Molly Smith is moving on, leaving us for Memphis. She heads to Tennessee TV after four plus years here in the Green Mountains.

They are mountains Molly loves. She started her reporting career with us near Killington, her hometown. She covered the Rutland region for us, telling us stories from Southern Vermont.

When Tropical Storm Irene hit, Molly told the challenging stories of struggle and inspiration. The flood forever changed the community she loves.

She informed us with her reporting, both on TV and social media. Molly kept us current on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Nights and days were not for her; early morning was her wake-up call. She brought energy and warmth to our morning team as an anchor.

Whether it was on the set or in the field, Molly reported the good and the bad for us. She's a journalist who will take a bit of Vermont to the South with her. We wish her the best on her new journey and say thanks for a job well done.
