It's April out there, even if it doesn't look like it in some spots this morning! And we have some fun activities you can check out this Saturday.

You can get into the spirit of the month with a huge Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Satuday. It's in Oakledge Park and includes about 10,000 eggs! This is a free event. There will be face painting and cookie decorating too.

There's a "Splash for Cash" at Okemo Mountain Resort! Okemo is setting up a huge kicker at the beginning of the slush cup pond. Show your best freestyle trick and land any way you want in the "warm" slush cup water. You can register from 8:30 til 10 for several events today.

Mount Snow Winter Brewers Festival has more than 25 breweries and 50 beers. It's from Noon-5 p.m. It's $20 with lift ticket or season pass and $25 without.

The Green Mountain Film Festival is happening this weekend at Catamount Arts Center in St. Johnsbury. For the 17th year, they've got a diverse lineup of films and presentations by distinguished guests. Things start at noon.

The 11th Great Gardens and Landscaping Symposium is in Manchester Center. It features six dynamic lectures, a Gardener's Marketplace, great food, door prizes and gifts. Lectures include: 50 Perennials I Could Not Live Without, The Layered Garden, Mowless Lawns, Celebrity Pots, Fun with Color: Variegated Foliage in the Garden, Flashy New or Underused Perennials for 2014. www.pyours.com/symposium

The Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society will host a Cabin Fever Italian Supper on Saturday, April 5th to support the animals in their care. Enjoy a delicious Italian dinner including salad, a selection of fresh breads, and delectable desserts. Dine in the newly renovated educational barn, and visit with the animals, or come for take-home meal. Due to popularity, tickets for both dine-in and take-out should be purchased ahead of time by calling 802-484-5829 or by stopping by the shelter. Tickets are $15 per person or $10 for children under age 10 and senior citizens. Seatings will be at 5 and 7 p.m.
