The cluster initiativeproposed by President Philip Hanlon includes adding 30-40 new faculty positionsover the next decade.

Anderson says the collegeis floored by the donation and excited to be able to further enrich theacademic lives of its students.

Part of the donation is being called a challenge grant, with a goal of raising an additional $100 million in donations.
