CONCORD, Vt. -

Vermont State Police say a student was hurt in a hit-and-run Monday morning and a staffer at his school is the prime suspect.

It happened just before 8 a.m. on Cross Road in Concord. Troopers say they found the driver, Kaitlin Call, 28, of Waterford, and her car parked at the Concord School. Call, who's listed as support staff on the school's website, was cited for careless and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a crash and providing a false statement to police.

The 14-year-old victim, who's a student at the Concord School, received minor injuries to his arm and neck.
