Man shot in Bennington police station held without bail

Posted: Updated:
The man shot by police inside the Bennington Police station last month is being held without bail.

42-year-old Gregory Filo pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The judge ordered him held in jail until he has a mental health evaluation.

Police say Filo was making stabbing motions at another man, threatened police and ignored commands to drop the knife when an officer shot him.
