New police chief starting in Lisbon

Posted: Updated:

LISBON, N.H. (AP) - The town of Lisbon, New Hampshire, has a new police chief.

Scott Pinson has been a police officer in town for more than eight years.

The Caledonian Record reports the 43-year-old Pinson is leading a department that includes two full-time officers in addition to himself and a part-time soldier.

He is succeeding T. Joseph Tavernier, a 20-year-veteran of the department and chief for 15 years, who is opening an automotive business.
