Milk tanker off the road in Weston

WESTON, Vt. - A potentially messy situation in Weston Saturday.

A tanker, carrying thousand of pounds of milk, went off the road in Weston. The incident happened a little after 11 Saturday morning on Route 100, just south of the intersection of Foster Road. Police say 59-year-old Timothy Rouse, of Middletown Springs, went off the road on a soft shoulder. The truck was carrying more than 33,000 pounds of milk. Rouse was not injured and no milk was spilled but the northbound lane of Route 100 was closed while crews worked to clear the scene.
