Medical examiner concludes St. J toddler died of natural causes

Posted: Updated:
ST. JOHNSBURY - A toddler who died suddenly in St. Johnsbury last month was not a victim of foul play but a respiratory disease.

22-month-old Mason Keithan was found unresponsive in his bed at an apartment building on Mountain View Drive.

On the heels of two other recent toddler deaths, state police launched an investigation, but the medical examiner has now concluded that the boy suffered from bronchial asthma and died of natural causes.
