WATERBURY, Vt. - A Johnson mom charged with trying to smother her daughter with a pillow has gone missing.

Police are looking for Michele Juttner, 30. They say she was last seen in Waterbury about a month ago and hasn't communicated with her family on Facebook in more than three weeks.

Juttner is accused of assaulting her 6-year-old back in September and is awaiting trial.

She's described as about 5-feet tall with red or auburn hair and brown eyes.

Authorities say their search has expanded to Florida, Kentucky and South Carolina.
