KEENE, N.H. (AP) - A Keene, New Hampshire, man is dead after a four-hour standoff with police.
Officers say they were trying to serve a warrant on 34-year-old Matthew Snow on Tuesday on charges he received stolen property and violated parole when he fled, clutching a handgun to his body.
Police say the man fled to a nearby apartment, where he held them at bay for about four hours before turning the gun on himself.
He was taken to Cheshire Medical Center, where he died.
