CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A political action committee backing Republican Jim Rubens' U.S. Senate campaign in New Hampshire has created a website attacking one of his primary opponents, former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown.
The New Hampshire PAC to Save America on Tuesday posted realscottbrownrecord.com. Consultant Mike Dennehy says it will show how Brown is vulnerable on the same issues he's used to criticize Democratic incumbent Jeanne Shaheen. For example, it highlights a Congressional Quarterly analysis concluding that Brown voted with President Barack Obama 78 percent of the time in 2012.
Dennehy says the website won't be the only anti-Brown effort, but there are no immediate plans for television ads.
Brown's campaign declined to comment.
Former U.S. Sen. Bob Smith also is seeking the GOP nomination.
