CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A new poll shows U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter slightly ahead of one of her possible challengers and about even with the other in New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District, while Rep. Annie Kuster fares better in the 2nd District.

The WMUR Granite State Poll shows Shea-Porter, a Democrat, slightly ahead of Republican Dan Innis. Shea-Porter remains about even with Republican Frank Guinta, who previously held the seat for one term. In the 2nd District, Kuster, a Democrat, is ahead of Republicans Marilinda Garcia and Jim Lawrence, and slightly ahead of Gary Lambert.

The telephone poll of 669 adults was conducted June 19 - July 1 by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center and had a margin of error of plus or minus 6 percentage points in each district.
