MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Vermont Administration Secretary Jeb Spaulding says the state revenues for the just-ended 2014 fiscal year met projections.
Spaulding says the 2014 General Fund revenues were $2.4 million ahead of forecast, almost 0.2 percent head of the target.
The Transportation Fund was about $1.5 million below expectations, or 0.06 percent, and the education fund was $3.1 million below projections, or 1.75 percent below expectations.
All three funds were well ahead of 2013 revenue figures.
Spaulding says he's pleased "revenue forecasters practically hit the nail on the head."
He says the figures are a good economic indicator.
