NASCAR traffic expected in NH Sunday

Posted: Updated:

If you live in, or you're traveling through, New Hampshire tomorrow, you may want to plan extra time into your trip.

More than 100,000 NASCAR fans are expected at Sunday's race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon.

That starts at 1 p.m., but officials say most of the traffic will happen in the late afternoon and early evening Sunday, and they're making major traffic pattern changes.

The Exit 14 ramp on Interstate 93 Northbound will be closed from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday.

That ramp and the exit 15 East ramp on I-93 South will be closed again from about 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

There will also be lane changes on the interstate in the afternoon and evening.
