HUDSON, N.H. (AP) - Manchester police say a motorcyclist has died after his bike and a car collided at a street intersection in the New Hampshire city.

Police say the man was eastbound Saturday afternoon on Goffstown Road when his bike collided with the car at Montgomery Street. Police say both the motorcyclist and his female passenger were seriously injured and taken to a hospital, where he died. It wasn't known if the two were wearing helmets.

Police didn't release their names, pending notification of family members.

Police say the driver of the car, 58-year-old Mary Johnson, and her passenger, 50-year-old Robert Uhmel, were not injured. Both are from Manchester.
