HANOVER, N.H. -
Although the Dartmouth football team doesn't begin camp for a couple of weeks, the team rolled out the Big Green carpet for the community Tuesday night at the first ever Dartmouth Football 101. The event gave fans of all ages a chance to meet the players and coaches while getting that game day experience.
"We'd love to be the Upper Valley's football team," Dartmouth football head coach Buddy Teevens said. "I think we have a pretty good brand that we put out there. The kids are excited about it. To have folks come in with this degree of interest, it's a result we're very pleased with."
The group went through the Big Green's pregame routine including stretches and drills. The night concluded with a fashion show inside the Dartmouth football classroom where the team's brand new uniform was on display. Defensive back, Stephen Dazzo, modeled the gray pants, green jersey and gray helmet with the Dartmouth logo on the front.
"I love them," Dazzo said. "This is the first time that anyone on the team has seen the helmet and pants, the whole uniform together. So, it's pretty incredible to be the first one to wear it."
A new uniform and an Upper Valley community, welcomed additions to the Dartmouth Football Family.
