HERMON, N.Y. -

Two people have been charged with kidnapping two Amish girls in New York's North Country.

St. Lawrence County's District Attorney says 39-year-old Stephen Howells and 25-year-old Nicole Vaisey -- of Hermon -- were taken into custody earlier Friday evening. Neighbors say they live on County Route 21 with 3 kids.

Wednesday night -- seven-year-old Delila Miller and her 12-year-old sister Fannie vanished from their family's roadside farm stand in Oswegatchie. Then last night police say they were dropped off, unharmed, at a home about 15 miles away.

Authorities say more charges are possible.
