BETHLEHEM, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire Fish and Game conservation officer and his four-legged partner made quick work of finding a missing man with Alzheimer's.

Bethlehem and Franconia police were notified at about 11 p.m. Thursday that a 69-year-old man had wandered away from his Bethlehem home.

When a quick search by police and family members didn't locate the man, conservation officer Robert Mancini and his K-9, Ruger, were called in to help.

Within half an hour, the pair located the man in a densely wooded area about a half mile from his home.

When he was found at 12:20 a.m. Friday the man was huddled up on a rock, damp and cold. He was evaluated by ambulance attendants and deemed to be in stable condition.
