MONTPELIER, Vt. -

With the primary behind him, Libertarian candidate for governor Dan Feliciano is hoping his views against the administration's health care reform plans gain traction.

Speaking to reporters Tuesday, Felciano said if elected, he would close down Vermont Health Connect, repeal Act 48 that created it and migrate the state over to the Federal Exchange. He says Vermonters he's talked to have lost faith in the state's ability to manage health care and that moving to single-payer will break the bank.

"Once the numbers are released for single-payer people are going to be floored and everybody is going to be scrambling to figure out what to do differently, what to do next," said Feliciano.

Republican Scott Milne says he's not for or against single-payer. He says it depends on what the plan is and how it works for Vermont.
