ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Tax returns released by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's running mate show she and her husband made $337,000 last year, a significant increase from four years earlier.
Kathy Hochul and her husband reported $228,000 in income in 2009, when Hochul, a Democrat, was Erie County clerk.
She served in Congress from 2011 until early 2013. After leaving office she became a vice president at M&T Bank.
Hochul's husband is William Hochul, the U.S. attorney for the Western District of New York state.
Hochul released five years of tax returns Friday. Cuomo releases his tax returns every year.
Their campaign has called on Cuomo's Republican challenger Rob Astorino and his running mate Chris Moss to release five years of returns. Astorino, the Westchester County executive, has released a return for one year.
